The High Seas is a American Fishing Vessel based in San Mateo, California and run by Barry Day. The High seas is a wooden boat that was once fished under sail. She has a massive hull under the water line allowing her to handle the rough waters where the Albacore tuna reside. The wooden hull also makes her very fish friendly compared to other boats. The shape of a boat’s hull and the sound the motor makes in the water can scare the fish off.
