British Columbia’s leading wholesale and retail seafood supplier announced today the company will be expanding its supply of sustainable seafood to include Boathouse Restaurants, a Vancouver based chain with several locations in Greater Vancouver.
George Heras, President of 7 Seas said, “Sustainability is a key focus at 7 Seas and we’re thrilled to be working with Boathouse Restaurants towards a common goal of providing quality seafood to consumers that also minimizes the overall impact on the environment.” 7 Seas works closely with sustainable interest groups such as; Ocean Wise, SeaChoice and the Marine Stewardship Council for sourcing the best in sustainable seafood and educating the public about its benefits.

We know we can depend on 7 Seas to source and provide the best in seafood choices for all of our restaurants,” said Kelly Gordon, Chief Operating Officer, The Boathouse Restaurant Group. 7 Seas will be providing Boathouse restaurants with a majority of their seafood including Queen Charlottes Troll Springs, Alaskan Sockeye, Local Halibut, Albacore Tuna, Northern Hook and line caught ling cod, Northern Sablefish, Saltspring Island Mussels, Island Manilla Clams, Island Oysters, Local Qualicum Island Scallops, Dungeness crab meat, Hook and line caught Ahi Tuna all sustainable and Ocean Wise approved.
